The pipe organ at St Stephens was installed on the 6th November 1878 and was a gift from the Parishioners and other friends.
It is a two manual and pedal organ and was built by Hele and Co. who are still in the organ business in Saltash.
Approximately 20 years ago two stops were replaced to improve the brightness of the organ.
The organ has not been rebuilt for many years and is in need of a rebuild. However, it is hoped that another pipe organ will replace it in the not too distant future.
