St Stephens by Saltash is one of two churches which comprise the physical plant of The Saltash Team Ministry. The church of St Stephens serves the larger part of the town and several small villages nearby. The smaller parish of SS. Nicholas and Faith was formed from part of St Stephens Parish in 1885. Today we ministry to the rapidly expanding areas of the town where new housing in Latchbrook, and more recently Pillmere, have added to the developments of the 1960's and 70s, together turning this once rural parish into an increasingly suburban one. As the town grows so does the call on St Stephens for services of Baptism and Holy Matrimony, both of which we see as opportunities to engage with the community in which we are set. We welcome all who join us for worship either at the celebration of Holy Communion or in the less formal worship setting of the Family Service when our praise is accompanied by the members of the Music Group.
